Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and TrackNest (“TrackNest”, “we”, “us”) and govern your use of the TrackNest apps for iOS and Android, the website at tracknest.app and related services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use TrackNest.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. Your account is for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may only add financial information that belongs to you or that you are authorized to manage.

TrackNest helps you record, organize and understand your spending, accounts, budgets and holdings. It works from the information you enter and the bank messages you choose to share. It does not connect to, sign in to or move money in your bank account.

TrackNest is not a bank, payment service, or financial, investment, tax or legal adviser. Nothing in the app is professional advice.

Automatic detection and categorization, balances, gold prices and exchange rates are provided for convenience and may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. Always check important figures against your bank’s official records before making decisions.

• Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your sign-in methods and your device secure. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@tracknest.app if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
• You can deactivate or delete your account from the app at any time.

If you turn on automatic logging, you authorize TrackNest to receive and process bank messages as described in our Privacy Policy. Only use this with your own device, phone number and accounts.

On iPhone, you create and control the Shortcuts automation that forwards messages, and you are responsible for how it is configured. Banks can change their message formats at any time, so some transactions may be missed or read incorrectly. You can turn automatic logging off whenever you like.

Plans

TrackNest offers a free plan with core features and TrackNest Pro, a paid subscription that unlocks advanced features and higher limits as described in the app. We may change which features are included in each plan over time. If you move from Pro to the free plan, nothing you created is deleted. Free-plan limits apply to adding new items, and Pro-only features, such as advanced analytics, adding investments, auto-logging exclusions and data export, are no longer available. You can still view and remove items you already created.

Purchases and billing

TrackNest Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play and is billed to your store account. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, may vary by country, and may include applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Apple’s or Google’s terms.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for.

Free trials

When a free trial is offered, it is available once per store account as determined by Apple or Google. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged when the trial ends. We aim to remind you before a trial ends, but you remain responsible for cancelling in time.

Special offers and promotional access

We may offer limited-time pricing, such as a founding member offer for eligible existing users, as well as offer codes or complimentary Pro access. Offer pricing applies for as long as that subscription remains active. Offers and promotional access have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and may be time-limited or subject to additional terms shown when you receive them.

Refunds and price changes

Payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refund requests are handled by them under their policies. If a subscription price changes, you will be notified as required by the store before the new price applies.

Deleting the app or your TrackNest account does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in your store account settings.

When using TrackNest, you agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Add another person’s messages or financial information without their permission.
• Access, probe or disrupt the Service, other accounts or our systems, or get around security, usage limits or subscription checks.
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the Service, except where the law expressly allows it.
• Use TrackNest to send spam or harmful code.

You own the information you add to TrackNest. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You also allow us to keep message formats and merchant-to-category associations that are not linked to your account, so TrackNest can recognize messages and categorize merchants better for everyone. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

TrackNest, including its apps, website, design, logos and software, belongs to us and our licensors. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the Service under these Terms. You may not use our name or logos without written permission.

TrackNest relies on services provided by others, such as Apple, Google, our authentication and payment providers, and market data services. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

If you downloaded TrackNest from an app store:

• These Terms are between you and TrackNest, not Apple or Google, and TrackNest is solely responsible for the app and its content.
• Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
• Apple is not responsible for addressing claims about the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection or intellectual property claims.
• You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

We are always improving TrackNest, so features may change, be added or be removed. We may also pause the Service for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We will try to give you reasonable notice of changes that significantly affect you.

You can stop using TrackNest and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect other users or the Service. Where appropriate, we will tell you why and give you a chance to get a copy of your data first.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. You are responsible for the financial decisions you make.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrackNest will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for TrackNest Pro in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Before starting any formal proceedings, please contact us at support@tracknest.app so we can try to resolve the issue. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be subject to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using TrackNest after the changes apply, you accept the updated Terms.
